Our Teen Program offers campers completing 7th or 8th grade and their families maximum choice for
how they want to spend their Deer Mountain summer. An extensive list of day and overnight trips
are offered on an optional basis. For campers who aren't interested in travel, or who are just
interested in attending certain trips, NO PROBLEM! There's a compelling program of amazing activities
for them right here on the grounds of Deer Mountain. Campers who are interested in traveling
exclusively throughout the summer can choose our entire line up of trips and spend very little time at camp.

Optional Trips Include: Montreal & Quebec, Toronto & Niagara Falls, Great Adventure & the
Jersey Shore, Lake George, Boston, Southern California, Las Vegas including surrounding Canyons, Broadway
Show, Dorney Park, Baseball Games, Rafting Down The Delaware, etc., etc., etc.

Campers completing 9th grade can enroll in our Counselor In Training Program. The CIT program is
designed to develop the next generation of Deer Mountain Counselors. The program introduces a vast
array of activities and social interactions that are designed to help our CIT campers develop skills
relating to leadership, communication and collaboration that will help them at camp as a staff member,
in college and beyond. In addition to getting a taste of what is like to assume different roles on
the Deer Mountain staff team, CIT campers also have the opportunity to enjoy just being at camp.
We round out the program with a wide array of their favorite in camp activities and a series of
optional day and overnight trips.
