We’re looking forward to another fantastic summer at Deer Mountain Day Camp! Whether you’re a returning member or a first-timer here, we are thrilled you’ve signed your child up to spend time with us this year. Every member of our staff is excited to learn and grow with your camper, allowing him or her to get the most out of the summer and emerge with a satisfying new sense of what he/she is capable of.

As you know, we have tons of activities and events for our campers. With our 3:1 staff to camper ratio, we will never be too busy to talk to you about your child’s progress, and to address any questions or concerns that arise. Look forward to our updates on major milestones, other progress markers, and questions, and feel free to reach out if you’d like to know more about your child’s experience.

At Deer Mountain Day Camp, the details matter to us. This is why we try to personalize every camper’s involvement in activities and events, and why our counselors, activity specialists, waterfront directors, and other staff remain so present to what’s going on. If we can observe how campers interact with their surroundings, we can better understand them on an individual level—and help them make the most of their experience. This includes yours truly; we are both accountable, and also deeply involved.

Spending part of our summer together is a gift to us. You could have chosen any camp for your children, and you chose us. And for that, we are grateful.
